Eldorado Mineral Partners is a private buyer of oil and gas minerals and royalties, built the way a family manages its own land: patiently, personally, and with the math out in the open.

Who we are

Built for the families behind the acres.

Eldorado Mineral Partners LLC is a private partnership headquartered in Denver and Cleveland. We acquire oil and gas mineral and royalty interests across the Rockies — North Dakota down to New Mexico — and in Ohio, and we acquire them for our own account. No brokering, no flipping your file to a list of investors you’ve never met.

Most of the families we work with never set out to own minerals. They inherited acres a grandparent leased decades ago, or a royalty check that gets a little smaller every month, along with a mailbox full of offers from strangers. Our job is simple to say and hard to do well: make sure you understand what you own before you decide anything.

We’re the sister firm of Sagebrush Mineral Group, and we share its conviction that mineral owners deserve straight answers more than they deserve another sales pitch.

It’s not a tagline — it’s a structure. Three things follow from it.

Our own capital

We buy for our own portfolio and underwrite with our own money. That changes the incentives: we would rather pay a fair price for minerals we understand than a low price for anything with a decimal attached.

Small by design

You talk to the same person from the first call to the closing wire — someone who has actually read your file. No call centers, no scripts, no hand-offs to a “closer.”

Relationships over volume

We do fewer deals, more carefully. Many of the owners we talk with don’t sell for months, or years — or ever. We consider that a fine outcome, and we mean it.

The mineral-buying business has earned its reputation. These are the standing rules we hold ourselves to instead.

  • Every offer goes out in writing, with the math behind it.
  • We’ll tell you when holding makes more sense than selling.
  • We never send sight drafts, “final notices,” or anything designed to rush you.
  • You can take our offer to your attorney, your CPA — even our competitors.
  • We respond within one business day, and we don’t follow up unless you ask us to.
  • Everything you share with us stays confidential. Always.

Where we sit

Two headquarters, one team.

Headquartered in Denver and Cleveland — one foot in the Rockies, one in the Appalachian Basin.

From Denver we cover the Western basins — the Bakken, Powder River, DJ, Piceance, Uinta, and San Juan. From Cleveland we cover Ohio’s Utica. Underwriting minerals well means knowing the operators, the spacing, and the courthouse quirks of each county — so we stay where we know the rock, and say so when we don’t.
